  I booked a reservation online for the weekend, had my card on file and was given an exact amount in my confirmation. When I get to the hotel to check in they tell me now they want a 200 dollar cash deposit and the total paid now. If I had been aware of the deposit ahead of time it would not have been an issue but did not say anything. So I canceled and found another room and a day later these people still ran my card after telling me they would not charge me. Making a giant mess for me of course.
